Putnam Managed Municipal Income Trust, Putnam Master Intermediate Income Trust, Putnam Municipal Opportunities Trust and Putnam Premier Income Trust Announce Results of Annual Meeting of Shareholders

Putnam Managed Municipal Income Trust (NYSE: PMM), Putnam Master Intermediate Income Trust (NYSE: PIM), Putnam Municipal Opportunities Trust (NYSE: PMO) and Putnam Premier Income Trust (NYSE: PPT) (each a “Fund” or together, the “Funds”) announced today the results of the votes cast at each Fund’s annual meeting of shareholders held on April 17, 2026.

Robert D. Agdern, Carol L. Colman, Anthony Grillo, Eileen A. Kamerick, Nisha Kumar, Peter Mason, Hillary A. Sale and Jane E. Trust were elected as Trustees of PIM and PPT by the holders of record of each Fund’s outstanding common shares of beneficial interest.

Carol L. Colman, Anthony Grillo, Eileen A. Kamerick, Nisha Kumar, Hillary A. Sale and Jane E. Trust were elected as Trustees of PMM and PMO by the holders of record of each Fund’s outstanding preferred shares and common shares of beneficial interest, voting together as a single class.

PMO and PMM also announced that a quorum was not present with respect to the matter of electing two Trustees to be voted on by the preferred shareholders voting as a separate class. As a result, in accordance with each Fund’s Declaration of Trust and Bylaws, independent Trustees, Robert D. Agdern and Peter Mason remain in office and continue to serve as Trustees.

In addition, the shareholders of each Fund fixed the number of Trustees of each Fund at eight.
