Panda Windows & Doors’ horizontal sliding walls (HSW) have many applications in residential renovation products. They are typically used to join distinct interior areas together, creating the illusion of a more open layout, but because they are designed to be sturdy, the company also recommends them for entryways that connect to outdoor spaces. With 6063-T6 aluminum extrusions and multiple locking points, the systems offer improved security while providing occupants with a generous view of the outdoors.
HSWs are available in a number of models; standard options will have all-aluminum extrusions, and aluminum/wood-clad systems come with wood panels with operable clips that lock onto the extrusions for easy repairs. Customers who want a more natural appearance for their system can instead order solid wood models, and these feature durable LVL wood cores. Frameless options are also available for buyers who prefer minimalistic designs and uninterrupted sight lines.
When opening an HSW, the door panels can be slid and stacked outside the aperture, leaving it completely clear.
