From Waste to Wonder: ReBox UpCycles OrdinaryCardboard into Endless Creations

Live on Kickstarter, the Cori ReBox Kit turns old boxes into endless fun.

-- Cori Create, an innovative design company focused on sustainability and creativity, is live on global crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and raising funds to bring its revolutionary new ReBox project to life.

Cardboard waste is a growing issue, with millions of tons discarded each year. ReBox is here to change that by transforming everyday cardboard into a versatile building material, empowering children (and the young at heart) to create vehicles, windmills, robots, forts and more with a simple yet ingenious system. By making sustainability fun and accessible, ReBox aims to reduce waste while sparking creativity.

“What inspired me was seeing my own kids—and other kids—on their devices all day long. That’s one part of it. The second part is that I have a ton of Amazon boxes and other packaging that I usually just recycle each week. Every time I see them, I think, ‘What can I do with that?’” says co-founder Howard Chan. “We also work with a lot of schools, and school projects are a big part of students’ learning. We noticed that cardboard is used frequently in those projects, so we wanted to enhance that experience—helping students rethink the cardboard they’re using and elevate it to the next level.”

The ReBox Kit provides everything needed to transform old cardboard into something extraordinary:

  • Durable Wheels – Five-inch diameter double-wall corrugated cardboard wheels, designed for easy customization with paint.
  • Mounting Stud/Axle – Equipped with a 3M adhesive pad; simply peel the liner and press firmly to attach like a 3D sticker.
  • Wheel Bushing – Designed for a secure press-fit into the wheel, snapping effortlessly into the mounting stud.
  • Rubber Belt – Provides extra traction when needed; can be omitted for projects requiring smooth drifting.

“We believe in the power of creativity, play, and upcycling. ReBox Kit isn't just a product—it's a movement to turn everyday objects into extraordinary experiences while creating sustainably. By supporting this project, you’re joining a community that values creative exploration and quality family moments,” adds Chan.
