(PRUnderground) November 18th, 2024

CertNexus Inc., a division of Logical Operations, is proud to announce the launch of its new advanced training course, CyberSec First Responder® – Advanced (CFR-A): Applying Your Security Expertise (Exam CFA-110). Designed for cybersecurity professionals eager to elevate their practical skills, this comprehensive 5-day course builds on the foundational knowledge established in the CyberSec First Responder® (Exam CFR-410) course.

The CyberSec First Responder® – Advanced course offers an immersive experience, emphasizing hands-on exercises across a variety of tools and environments. Participants will engage in real-world scenarios that enhance their capabilities in three critical cybersecurity modes: Attack, Analyze, and Address:

  • Attack: Simulate attacks on computing assets to test security measures and understand threat vectors.
  • Analyze: Identify, detect, and assess threats to gain insights into their operation and impact on security.
  • Address: Implement countermeasures and protections to mitigate threats and enhance security posture.

Course Objectives: Participants will gain hands-on experience with:

  • Identifying the appropriate security toolkit
  • Exploiting software and system vulnerabilities
  • Analyzing attacks through passive and active methods
  • Implementing security protections to minimize attack impact

CFR-A is an advanced course tailored specifically for cybersecurity professionals who have successfully completed CyberSec First Responder® (Exam CFR-410) and wish to deepen their mastery of defensive tactics against cyber threats. It also serves as preparation for candidates pursuing the CFR-A credential, available through the CHOICE platform.

“Empowering cybersecurity professionals with hands-on experience is essential for navigating today’s complex threat landscape. The CyberSec First Responder® – Advanced course is designed to transform theoretical knowledge into practical skills, ensuring our responders are not just prepared, but proactive.” — Nancy Curtis, VP of Content at Logical Operations.

CFR-A will be offered globally through CertNexus’ Authorized Training Partners. View a full list of CertNexus’ ATP’s here: https://certnexus.com/authorized-training-partners/. Upon the successful completion of the assessment, an individual will earn the CertNexus CFR-A credential validating their advanced knowledge of IT security.
