VA Claims Academy, an educational program dedicated to helping veterans get the appropriate level of VA benefits, launched a new online tool that evaluates veterans' current VA ratings.

(PRUnderground) April 27th, 2026

VA Claims Academy has introduced a new online tool designed to help veterans quickly assess whether they qualify for additional VA disability compensation. The tool gives veterans a practical starting point before they decide whether to pursue a claim increase, secondary condition claim, or another rating review.

By walking users through a structured series of questions, the tool helps veterans identify gaps between their health conditions and the benefits they’re currently receiving. It’s free, user-friendly, and only takes about two minutes to complete.

“We have a lot of veterans come to us suspecting that they deserve a higher rating, but they don’t want to go through all of the work of an appeal if they don’t have a shot at it,” said VA Claims Academy founder Jordan Anderson. “This tool helps veterans know where they stand and what their next steps should be.”

Anderson, an Air Force veteran, founded VA Claims Academy to provide clear, reasonably priced help for pursuing VA disability increases. Anderson was motivated to learn about the VA claims system after losing thousands of dollars on VA assistance services that did nothing to improve his rating. He studied how the VA evaluates evidence, how claims are won or lost, and how veterans can present their cases more effectively. After securing his own 100% Permanent and Total Disability rating, Anderson turned that knowledge into an education-focused platform for other veterans.

Anderson’s company does not garnish veterans’ back pay like many assistance providers. Rather, they charge a competitive, flat fee for education that puts the veteran in the driver’s seat. Veterans learn how to maximize VA disability through new avenues and how to provide the specific evidence the VA needs to see. The Academy also provides tried-and-true resources like templates for nexus letters and personal statements, sharpening veterans’ claims while saving them countless hours.

VA Claims Academy has worked with more than 4,400 veterans since it opened in 2022, helping 80% of clients win a 100% VA rating. VA Claims Academy’s free assessment tool is available at quiz.vaclaims-academy.com. Veterans seeking to learn more about the Academy’s education services can visit www.vaclaims-academy.com.
