The addition of Allison expands the expert team leading the recently launched sustainable real estate strategy
Allison Fremed joins Galvanize Climate Solutions (“Galvanize”) as Portfolio Manager and Chief Operating Officer for Galvanize’s recently launched sustainable real estate investment strategy. Reuniting with her former colleagues, Joseph Sumberg, Nicolette Jaze and Nadine Anderson, Allison will be based out of Galvanize’s New York office.
Allison previously spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as a Vice President in the Goldman Sachs Asset Management ("GSAM") Real Estate group. While at Goldman, Allison oversaw the portfolio management of seven funds focused on US investments in core, core-plus, value-add and development, and was a member of the Investment Committee. Allison also served as a member of GSAM Real Estate's acquisitions team, investing in multifamily, student housing, industrial, office and retail investments throughout the US. Allison started her career at RBC Capital Markets working in the Real Estate Investment Banking group.
At Galvanize, Allison will help shape the investment thesis for sustainable investing in the U.S. commercial real estate. She will focus on optimizing risk adjusted returns through portfolio management across all property types, with an initial focus on multifamily, industrial, student, and self-storage.
